Strack Norma continues to innovate and is pleased to announce the launch of its new in-house turned parts production facility. Customers can now benefit from this development and receive customised solutions for their applications.
The new turned parts production facility is geared towards the precise and efficient manufacture of customised guide elements and complete components for toolmaking and mechanical engineering. Whether it is individual orders, small series or large series production of complex components, Strack Norma is available to its customers on site to fulfil their requirements.
At the heart of this new production facility is a state-of-the-art turning and milling centre. This offers numerous advantages, including the ability to machine complex turned and milled parts in a single set-up through the use of a counter spindle. The optimisation of production times thanks to a sophisticated automation system in conjunction with robot loading and unloading ensures that orders are processed more quickly. Equally pleasing is the reduction in set-up costs, made possible by a built-in lower turret with its 12 stations for driven tools and an additional magazine for a further 38 tools.
The new turned parts production facility is characterised not only by its precision, but also by its flexibility and the ability to offer customised solutions according to customer requirements. This is particularly advantageous for customers who have special requirements for their turned and milled parts.
In addition to the state-of-the-art turning and milling centre, a hard turning and grinding machine is used to offer customers comprehensive solutions for the precision machining of tool and machine components. The unique machine concept, which enables finishing in a single clamping operation, offers a wide range of benefits for customers: For example, the roundness tolerance of ≤ 0.5 μm ensures outstanding precision, even with complex workpieces. The machine also enables efficient hard turning and a partial grinding process, which significantly expands the range of materials and components that can be machined and reduces machining costs.
High-precision machining of both external and internal diameters with a tolerance of < 2 μm is made possible with the new grinding machine and thus offers maximum accuracy in the production of precision parts.
With the introduction of this new turned parts production in its own factory, Strack Norma is once again emphasising its commitment to customer proximity, quality and innovation. Customers can rely on the expertise in the precise production of turned parts according to their drawings, CAD data or samples.
